*   **Tue/May 13**, **Office for Tech Trade / 科贸办**, Chance hosted "对接马来西亚智慧城市「需求链」- Greenwave Tech 专题交流会", including online live chat. Mr. Leong, CEO of Greenwave Tech (KL, Malaysia) , was warmly welcomed by smart appliance and AI manufacturing community leaders in Foshan/Shunde, such as _Derek Wong_, _Xu Xin_, _Ben Leong_ and _Mr. Deng_ ([GBATA](https://gbatalents.org) Foshan leaders). Our key topics and some key learnings,
    
    1.  Malaysian Chinese entrepreneurs' unique positioning and tech investment preferences, and how they've been through decades of cultural, political and ethnic turbulences, and why they are who they are today as leaders in Malaysia's tech / industrial scenes.
        
    2.  China (GBA) unique positions in collaborating with Malaysian companies to help them up the game in key industrial capabilities, while keeping their own tech and economic sovereignty, even by partnering with strong China partners. We shall be seeking longer-term partnership, rather than short-term opportunistic ones.
        
    3.  Under the new world order, what are the new / emerging opportunities for entrepreneurs from both Malaysia and China (GBA),
        
        1.  Manufacturing joint-ventures, like machinery rental
            
        2.  AI-upgrade solutions for manufacturing, a big theme under which innovative AI-powered solution will play critical roles, such as AI-simulation capabilities for all things manufacturing (upgrade), including skilled labor / workers transformation and coaching;
            
        3.  Crypto-enabled financing, such as PayFi, to empower fast and cheap business transactions that we couldn't imagine before.
